Wolf & Buffalo ist eine Shadowrun-Kurzfiction von R.L. King, die zur Enhanced Fiction-Reihe gehört, und sich daneben in die Reihe der "Shadows in Focus: Sioux Nation"-eBook-Veröffentlichungen einreiht.
Sie erschien am 20. August 2015 bei Catalyst Games Lab in englischer Originalsprache als eBook (Zip-Datei mit ePub-, Mobi- und Pdf-Version). Eine portugiesische Übersetzung unter dem Titel "Lobo & Búfalo", bezeichnet als "Ficção Ampliada", erschien beim Lizenznehmer Editora New Order.

The Sixth World doesn’t give people much time to grow up. Whoever you are, wherever you live, there’s going to come a time when the world is going to throw you some serious curveballs, and if all you can do is bitch and moan about how you’re not ready for what’s coming your way, you’re not going to last long. Get strong, grow up, and figure out how to survive—that’s what everyone else has done. Except for those lying two meters underground.
One of those tests is about to hit Lena, a young woman living in the Sioux Nation. She’s going to learn a lot about how life in the Sixth World works, and just how far people will go to get what they want, but before she can process any of that, she is going to have to survive criminals, smugglers, and worse. She doesn’t have much to help her, except for some new powers she does not understand. Using them, and drawing on some unexpected allies, is the only way she will live out the day.
Wolf and Buffalo is original short fiction for Shadowrun, Fifth Edition, and part of the Shadows in Focus: Sioux Nation collection of books—though you don’t need to read anything else to enjoy the story!

Um desses testes está prestes a atingir Lena, uma jovem que vive na Nação SIoux. Ela vai aprender muito sobre como a vida no Sexto Mundo funciona, e até que ponto as pessoas vão para alcançar o que desejam, mas antes que ela possa entender qualquer uma dessas coisas, ela vai ter que sobreviver a criminosos, contrabandistas e coisa pior. Ela não tem muito para ajudá-la, exceto por alguns novos poderes que ela não entende. Usufruir da ajuda de aliado inesperados e usar estes poderes, são a única maneira de sobreviver até o fim do dia.
Lobo & Búfalo é uma ficção curta original para Shadowrun, Quinta Edição e parte da coleção de livros Sombras em Foco: Nação Sioux, embora você não precise ler nada mais para aproveitar a história!
